What Information Do We Collect
When you sign up for alerts from PATRONNÈ, you give us your full name, email address and career stage which we use exclusively to communicate with you as one of our members and understand your potential informational needs.
When you create an account with PATRONNÈ, you give us your full name and email address, create a username and password and select preferences.
You have the option to use credentials (user name and password) from an existing Third Party account such as LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. to sign up and sign in to your PATRONNÈ account. Should you choose this option, basic identifying information you have supplied to the Third Party is accessed by PATRONNÈ.
The user profile you create on PATRONNÈ helps us customize your account and enables you to connect and network with other PATRONNÈ members. By default your profile includes your name and username. You may opt to add a profile picture and biographical information.
To enable richer engagement and networking with other PATRONNÈ members and to personalize your experience, we may ask for additional information, including your contacts, location or a list of the apps on your mobile device.
We receive other information from Google when you use PATRONNÈ. This includes data about your device, software, operating system, operating system- provided device or user-specific advertising IDs for advertisement tracking (“Advertising IDs”), your IP address and the date and time of each request you make to PATRONNÈ. This information helps us better design digital experiences based on how our members access the MAGAZINE.
If you share content from the PATRONNÈ website, we collect that information to better understand which channels through which content is shared, content elements that are shared, the email addresses to which content is shared (if via email). This information is collected to help us understand content and channels that are of most interests to our members.
How We Use and Disclose Your Information
A big part of PATRONNÈ is its community of likeminded professional women who share a desire for career information, insights and a network. Your PATRONNÈ profile, the people and sources you follow, the content you share, the comments you post are of interest to us to help you connect with the likeminded peers within our community, and to enable us to build a stronger community.
This information helps us to better understand how you use our service, customize your experience prevent abuse and improve PATRONNÈ.
We do not share your personally identifiable information. We may disclose aggregate information about how our users use PATRONNÈ in a manner that doesn’t identify you individually.
Web Storage and Tracking Policy
Cookies and HTML5 local storage are ways to keep information about your use of Internet services on your own mobile device or computer.
Some browsers make it possible for you to signal that you don’t want your Internet browsing activity to be tracked. The Internet community hasn’t reached a consensus on how to best honor these signals, so we don’t respond to Do-Not-Track requests at this time.
If you’d like to delete your account, you can do so on the PATRONNÈ website. If we delete your account, your user profile will no longer be visible on our service, though we may still keep some log information in non-personally identifiable form and any other information you have made publicly available through PATRONNÈ (comments to content, for example).
