Marissa Mayer, the 41-year-old CEO of Yahoo, is set to exit in June when the $4.48 billion acquisition of the company by Verizon closes. Marissa’s career path included a two-year stint in a couple firms out of college before signing on with Google in 1999 as the first female engineer. Thirteen years later, she had launched more than 100 features and products for Google and was tapped as Yahoo CEO in 2012. The aging brand didn’t recover under her tenure but the deal with Verizon and her exit will see her take home about $186 million worth of stock, stock options, and restricted stock units.
